The company was founded in 2017 in the city of Trujillo, located in the La Libertad region in northern Peru. From the beginning, we were clear about our goal to introduce our products to the world. We started by exporting to the Argentine market; however, in 2020, due to the pandemic, we had to halt all ongoing negotiations. After this period, we resumed operations at full speed, focusing again on our units: Textiles and Hydrobiological Products, targeting Argentina and Asia, among others. Soon after, we incorporated Fresh Fruits and other products that we have added over time.
Our trade name, MALLKU, is a Quechua word meaning Condor, a bird native to the Andes mountains. According to how the Incas described it, Mallku means: The leader who governs with the wisdom of God, soaring above the mountains, leaving abundance in its flight—a bird of good omens, spotted over fertile fields and crops. For these reasons and more, Mallku represents us.
Our team of professionals, specialized in foreign trade with years of experience, works actively and collaboratively in both countries, Peru and Argentina, where we maintain commercial and productive activity.
Our producers and partners, both Peruvian and Argentine, are carefully selected companies with many years of experience. We choose them for their quality, care in processes, products, certifications, and expertise in exportable goods.
Our units include: Fresh foods from Peruvian lands, hydrobiological products from the Peruvian sea, viticulture from Argentina, Peruvian coffee and cocoa, textiles made with the finest raw materials including Peruvian Pima cotton, and legumes from Córdoba, Argentina, among others. We work together to establish the most suitable commercial strategies for each product and market, allowing us to efficiently meet export objectives.
Our business model leads us to offer comprehensive solutions for marketing food products through an optimal and productive relationship with our logistics partners, who have years of experience in the field. This allows us to optimize costs for our clients. Additionally, the new Mega Port of Chancay, located 75 km from Lima, Peru’s capital, improves processes and delivery times to our Asian continent customers without intermediaries.
